Philippe Restaurant

When I first sat down to post to my blog I was very unsure of what to blog about.  Then I realized that I ate at an excellent restaurant in NYC.  Philippe Restaurant was founded by the chef Philippe Chow.  He began his cooking career in Hong Kong and eventually brought his expertise to New York.  His restaurant contains Bejing- inspired dishes that are absolutely delicious.  This restaurant is a bit pricey, but if you want a meal that will not disappoint you this is a place to try.

I found out about this place through social media.  A friend had posted her meal and this attracted me to look further into the restaurant.  The food looked amazing, but what attracted me the most was that the menu states that there is absolutely no MSG in the food.  Many foods contain MSG, especially Chinese food.  I love to eat Chinese food, but the biggest problem with it is that the side effects are always unpleasant.  MSG is a "silent killer" in foods.  Consuming MSG leads to unpleasant side effects such as headache, nausea, weakness, and chest pain.

After eating at Philippe's, I did not experience any of the symptoms that MSG causes.  I was actually able to eat an entire meal and feel full, but not to the point of being sick.  It wasn't until last night that I realized the effects of MSG.  I actually stopped eating and thought to myself, "this is what it feels like to eat Chinese food and not feel sick."  I will now be more conscious of foods that contain MSG when eating.  Philippe's changed my views on food last night.  I highly recommend this restaurant.  

Christian Louboutin Pigalle 120mm

I am new to blogging so I am not sure what I should be writing about.  I will start off with something that I have an interest in, Christian Louboutin heels.  As a 25 year old woman, I enjoy shopping, especially for designer brand names.  One of my favorite items to shop for is Christian Louboutin Heels.  I am going to blog about my favorite pair in this blog.  

This above shoes are the Pigalle 120mm Christian Louboutin heels.  These heels are classic, elegant, and stylish.  These shoes fit 1/2 size to a full size smaller than what you normally wear.  When purchasing these shoes, you'll want them to fit snug because they do stretch over time.  As previously stated, these shoes are classic and elegant, but I do have one complaint about these shoes.  When wearing them, your toes seem to look squished and wrinkled.  You can buy an insert for your shoes to push your foot back into the heel of the shoe.  

I recommend these shoes for any occasion.  They truly are the perfect shoe to wear.  Aside from the above complaint, the shoes are rather perfect.  Over time, the problem of squished toes disappears because the shoes do stretch out.
